Friday, June 17th, 2011Most organizations in the early 2000’s used to offer their employees the opportunity to do a web mastering course which normally took six months of studying part-time, such opportunities should be taken advantages as the skill to off being able to design, code and maintain website is very much a necessity in the virtual era that we currently reside in.
A webmaster is a person responsible for functions of a website either for a corporate website or personal websites in which case the webmaster will own the domain. The major functions that the webmaster is responsible for are:
• Designing
• Maintaining
• Coding
• Functionality
• Content (if site belongs to webmaster)
There role of a webmaster is basically one upon which is more involved in the life-span of the website, unlike a web developer the webmaster is there to monitor and guide progress throughout all the different stages off the sites life.
